About Read-O-Speed
Overview
Read-O-Speed is a simple and efficient reading speed tester that helps you discover how fast you read and how much you assimilate or trade-off based on the speed.
It features a timer that tracks the time it takes you to go through the test and, calculator that measures reading speed in words per minute(wpm) across 3 different reading samples.

Textual samples based on self-leadership topics for your perusal. Discover your reading speed while learning something worthwhile. That’s Win-Win for you.
Samples carry different difficulty levels varying in grammatical structure and writing, putting your assimilation to the test.
Try all three difficulty levels to challenge yourself:
- Easy: Simple vocabulary and straightforward narrative
- Medium: More complex sentence structure and concepts
- Hard: Advanced vocabulary and abstract ideas
Timer
Start-Stop Timer that tracks the time as you read through the article.
Read Speed Calculator:
Determines how fast you went through the text. Presents a value which is your read speed in at the end of the tests.
The average adult reading speeds are:
- Slow: Less than 150 WPM
- Average: 200-250 WPM
- Above Average: 300-400 WPM
- Speed Reader: 400-700 WPM
- Expert: 700+ WPM

- Calculate the average to determine your average trading speed.
